Subject: Exemption of stamp duty and registration fees on deed of gift.

The undersigned is directed to refer to the above subject and to request him to communicate the legal position in this respect to the concerned registration offices with a direction to register the documents of gift executed by the governing body/Managing Committee of the Nationalised Colleges without demanding stamp duty as well as fees for registration.
