To: The District Registrar, Chittagong.

Sub: Seizures of Registration Records by D.A.B

Ref: His memo No. 7732 Dated 18.09.70

With reference to your endorsement No. Referred to above, he is informed that before complying with such requisition or seisures the procedure laid down in Note-I of Rule- 197 of the Record manual, 1973 (copy and enclosed) should be meticulously followed. The District Anti-Corruption Branch may be informed that Registration Records can in no way be parted with and if still they insist on seizure of such documents/records, the documents/records in questions may be sent to them in a sealed cover through two responsible members of his staff with a covering letter requesting that the documents/records may be returned forthwith after necessary inspection in a sealed cover through the same bearers. The District Anti Corruption Branch may also be told that the records in question will be produced in the same manner on another date, when called for, if not done with on that date.
